Brief Project Description

Located at the end of Runway, 9/27, just east of Clairmont Road, this renovation at Dekalb Peachtree Airport (PDK) began with the removal of the existing pavement. Astra performed grading and installed drainage and a detention pond. Astra also designed and constructed hangar facilities, including the taxiway pavement, access road, sanitary sewer, and landscaping surrounding these hangars. Three small “T” design hangars with room for 13 aircraft were built, one large “T” design, with room for 10 aircraft, and one small box design to accommodate four (4) aircraft.
