Brief Project Description

ASTRA was selected to construct a new three-bay Station #4 for Fayette County, GA. The new 10,000-SF fire station is located at McDonough Road and County Line Road, the former site of the Georgia Department of Drivers Services office. Our scope includes site development with sidewalks, erosion control, landscaping, site utility connections, curbs, gutters, striping, signage, and full building construction.

Interiors consisted of lobby, showers, restrooms, an ADA bathroom/bath area, seven sleeping quarters, laundry, covered patio, dining area, inside and outside storage rooms, day room, study room, apparatus bay, fire riser room, mechanical room, exercise room, watch office, and watch station.
