Brief Project Description

Astra was selected as the general site contractor to perform site utilities and paving as part of the Atlantic Aviation Project Team PDK Airport. As part of our scope, we are installing upgraded storm drainage lines, underground stormwater detention, surface water collection trench drains, and installation of water quality devices in existing airfield ponds. Additionally, Astra is responsible for the installation of utility service connections to a new Forward Base Operations (FBO) and two new hangars, including sewer force main, pump station, and water services. Astra’s overall project scope also includes 55,100 square yards, or over 11 acres, of new asphalt pavement.
